I'm a copywriting, marketing and communications professional with a knack for digital content, social media, internal communications and brand messaging. Like all good marketers, I love telling stories, but more importantly, I love figuring out how to tell them well.
I have about eight years of professional experience, three of which were at a fast-paced agency, supporting brands through content marketing, paid and organic social, native advertising, public relations and internal communications. This work taught me two things: strategy is everything, and every brand has a story worth telling.
Three more years were spent in a totally different environment: the classroom. As an English teacher, I taught my students what I know best: how to write, how to know your audience and how to get better every day. If you want to grow your confidence, your critical thinking skills and your resilience, I highly recommend you spend some time teaching teenagers.
Now, I'm back in marketing, serving a school community of 2,000+ constituents. I use our words and digital toolkit to share our mission with prospective families, internal stakeholders and the greater Atlanta community. I'm a copywriter, a video editor, a production assistant and a communications consultant, depending on the day (or the hour).
